Popeyes Reopens in South Ocala

Popeyes is going to reopen in South Ocala with “Grand Opening and Exciting Giveaways.“

Popeyes, located at 2175 SW Highway 484, Ocala, has reopened after being closed for several months. To celebrate, the restaurant is hosting a grand opening event on Friday, November 22, at 5 pm. The 50 drive-thru customers will receive a “4-piece signature chicken meal” at $13. The additional giveaways include a chance to win a free chicken for a year through a special raffle.

This location is operated by TICE Popeyes Florida, a company with the ambition of becoming a leading franchise for the brand. TICE has been actively reopening and expanding Popeyes locations in Florida, including a recent reopening in TITUSVILLE in October, which also features promotional giveaways. Ocala is currently home to four Popeyes, including one at Paddock Mall and another on Pine Avenue, which reopened earlier this year following roof repair.

The SW 484 Popeyes had been closed since at least 2024 before resuming operation. 484 aims to reestablish itself as a popular dining option for residents and visitors. The grand opening event is expected to attract a strong turnout, enticing and reaffirming its presence in the bustling Ocala community.
